• Microsoft Dynamics Ax runs on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Dynamics Ax is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows Server. For example, Dynamics Ax uses the Active Directory to store, share, and retrieve information relevant for more than one client or programme.
• Dynamics Ax integrates closely with Microsoft Office. For example, Dynamics Ax uses Microsoft Excel's pivot tables to dispay OLAP cubes through Microsoft Analysis Services.
• Microsoft Analysis Services is the engine used by Dynamics Ax for embedding OLAP services in the solution.
• Dynamics Ax interfaces with Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM). Standard interfaces exist between Dynamics Ax Projects and EPM, supporting two-way communications.
